Hi everyone, and thanks for joining me here. If you’re wondering what this is or how you got signed up, you opted into receiving emails from me at BrXnd.ai. If that’s not interesting to you, feel free to unsubscribe. From here on out, this will go out roughly weekly and be a roundup of news, information, and ideas at the intersection of brands, AI, creativity, marketing, and the like. This first edition will be a bit more general to get things started.
BrXnd.ai launched today with a nice piece in Fast Company. I suggest giving it a read if you haven’t. I also did a big write-up for Why Is this Interesting? It’s likely you have read one of these, which is how you ended up subscribing to this list, so I won’t rehash everything.
Generally, I’ve become fascinated by what AI has to offer, but I think my interests are different than many others. While the focus is mostly on the text and visual generation, both of which are amazing, I have become pretty convinced that there’s some deep understanding of brands and marketing in these systems that I’m working on unearthing. Basically, I think that because branding is so much about generating patterns that lodge themselves in people’s brains, these systems are particularly well-suited partners in the process. And while much of the focus is rightly on the output that comes from that, I am equally interested in how to extract that perception and be able to use it as an input in the creative process.
Anyway, if this stuff is interesting to you as well (and hopefully it is), that’s what I’ll be covering here. I’ve also spun up a Discord, that I hope will become a vibrant community of marketers, creatives, and technologists who are interested in this intersection. You’re welcome to join. It’s a closed community, so once you hop on the Discord you’ll be asked to fill out a form before you’re approved. Having built communities before, I’ve found a little bit of friction is a good thing.
Finally, I announced today that I’m planning an event for the Spring in NYC. I’m still locking down a venue, but if you’re interested in sponsoring, speaking, or just working together on it, please reach out (you can also just reply to this email). And please feel free to share this email and the site with others. I appreciate the support as I’m getting this off the ground.
And since I can’t leave you without any visuals, here are a few fun CollXbs generated today:
Thanks for reading,
Noah
